Gilberto is a monkey. Gilberto is a table. It embodies a feeling. It tells of Madrid, friendship, long nights, delicacies, wine and bullfighting. The design represents a utopia of youthful recklessness, enthusiasm and joy: naughty, exciting and loud. Rolled sheet steel forms the shape, which is initially intangible to the eye. An object that initially opposes its use and only becomes a table with a specialised topping offering just enough space for what is important enough.
